The development of innovative and interactive learning principles can be done by designing the presentation of material to be learned following the steps stated by Johnstone (1993). You are familiar with the contextual learning approach where students are presented with facts first. In the Johnstone triangle, a similar thing is also done, namely the presentation of facts. When examined from the psychology of learning, facts or data known by everyday students can make it easier for them to develop concepts because the concepts in these facts are already known to them. In learning there will be a process of deepening and expansion of the concepts that have been held with the concepts to be learned.
